The parts interchange manual at http://www.pacificautotronics.com/MOPAR/Imperial/50-65%20Mopar%20Interchange.pdfindicates that the 1-3/8" pinion and 8-3/4" from early 60's will fit this old style dif.Anyone had any experience with this? JACK M Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Back in the day when I was running the stock bodied dirt cars we were the 'Mopar guys' among a sea of Camaros.We ran the 8 3/4 rear ends and would look in the old pick ups (early 50s) for the lower gears. If I remember correctly we could indeed use the R and P from the early rear ends in the later third members. You should be able to work that the other way around.
