Guest MidTNDawg
With a new end plate and a new center plate installed, the starter works just fine. In fact, I can tell a difference in the starter now vs before the compression was restored. Headed to FL and the Turkey Run next week. When I get back, it will be time to figure out the best way to remove the tacks in the headlining to get to the roof to recover it.

Paul Bohlig
DougSafe travels. Remind us of what compression number achieved after the rebuild. Just cannot remember what the ideal would be.Paul
Guest MidTNDawg
Paul, thanks for the safe travels wish. I am going to break the engine in just a bit and then run new compression tests. I want to know myself and will post when done.
Guest MidTNDawg
1930 - Jason, I will send an e-mail in the next day or so. Our son and daughter-in-law are moving near Daytona this week so we are still in a "fluid" situation.
