Guest Baddad
Novice starting to restore grandfathers 29 Olds. Did Olds publish any manuals/Part or service literature?
Guest stephen48
There were service manuals and handbooks available.Perhaps if you post a picture of your car and ask specific questions regarding the information you need you may get more responses. Steve Moskowitz
Get the manuals! Not hard to find and I think there may be reproductions out there as well. I have a 29 and friends do...happy to help you!
Guest Baddad
Steve, I guess if you have any insights to locate manuals I would appreciate it. I have tried to locate thru the internet but no luck so far. The only thing I found was an item titled, "1928-1936 Olds Master Parts Book Reprint" for $40.00. Have not purchased it. I got the car started and it runs but it looks like an air filter is missing. Once my kids show me how to post a photo of what I'm talking about, maybe you could shed some light. What I do know is the car is a F29 6 series. Engine F155703; Serial SC7514. Assuming SC stands for either sport coupe or standand coupe.
Steve Moskowitz
Send your email address to aaca1@aaca.org. I think I have duplicate owner's manuals. Check Walter Miller's site. I believe it is AutoLit.com ... The Leader in Automobile Literature Also check eBay as another source.
