Guest Executivekev
Hello,is there any way of checking the history of a vehicle with the vin #. I have just finished a restoration of a 1931 Chrysler Roadster and the owner would like to know more about the car if its possible.
keiser31
Some states have motor vehicle departments that have kept records. Most do not. The best way I have found information from the past on vehicles is to ask the previous owner, then ask the guy before that guy and on and on. You can go to the Chrysler Historical Collection online and possibly get a copy of the original build card to see where the car was originally shipped from the factory and get loads of other information about the car from the card. I believe the cost is $45.00. Here is one for one of my cars and may be similar...Walter P.
