farrellg Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 I just picked up what I believe is a 1931 Merchants Express 124" wheel base. I am trying to locate a vin number and have searched the posts for the usual locations. However, I have not yet located it on this truck. The frame was already refinished and it is possible it is just covered paint. But usually you can find one of the numbers peeking through enough to isoloate the location. But not here. Anyone have any ideas? We have been concentrating around the drivers side, front end, rear spring mount. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
farrellg Posted July 26, 2011 Author Share Posted July 26, 2011 Mystery solved. With a little elbow grease, I have located the serial near the drivers side, front spring mount.
