busaf4 Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Does anyone know a source for carburetor needle for a 24 Dodge with a Detroit Lubricator. I tried using a new seat with a rubber like insert, however the rubber like material restricts movement of the needle so the car either floods or starves for gas. Is there any technique to reshape the needle end. I tried an old needle that I had and it corrected the problem, but now I do not have a spare for my 24 or 20 Dodges. DoubleG Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Tom Myers found a good needle for me and he also installed it in the carb and set the adjustment perfectly!
