38Buick 80C Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 (edited) I can't say specifically for '36 but please go to Torque Tube Volume XI Issue 5 page 14 for paint colors of 1937-38 Buicks here: 1937 and 1938 Buicks www.1937and1938Buicks.com One would think they would be similar in '36.My transmission seems to have been unpainted. After a thorough cleaning I did find a big splotch of green paint and a smaller one of yellow on it that must have been from the original manufacturing line QC process. I installed it back in the car in this condition, cleaned with these splotches as put there about 75 years ago.Also if it matters my car was Flint produced.
