auburnseeker Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 It probably was a pretty nice car until someone decided to tarp it to the ground then forget to look at it for 5 or 6 years. Notice the dead ground around it where the grass couldn't get any light. I bought a buik ragtop 1953 like this that was stored in a wood floor barn until the barn started to get shakey so they put it outside then covered it with every tarp they could find completely after they parked it on top of some kind of very thick (paper) in the lawn. Talk about accelerating rust. A great habitat for snakes as well. There were some everywhere. Under the hood, On the front seat, in the top remnants.
