keiser31
John...I was gonna send you my bumper bracket, but maybe this will help. I did a quick drawing of what you need. The ends are 1'-2 15/16" radius where it curves. If you need more than this, let me know. The bar itself is 2" wide x 1/4" thick. The center area pretty much follows the contour of the gas tank cover. The last photo showing the black bracket is the way that the ends are cut on my other car. I would match the cut on the front bracket that you already have. Edited May 29, 2011 by keiser31 (see edit history)

keiser31
Thanks, Jason....I did a booboo, though. I measured the rear bracket of my first '31 Dodge which was rear-ended a long time ago while driving it home from work one rainy night. The bumper bracket is bent. This is the REAL configuration of the bracket ends and the updated drawing. Sorry for the errors on the earlier drawing. keiser31
Here are photos of the rear passenger side. The top face bar is about 20 1/8" long and the bottom one is about 21" long. Those dimensions are from the looped end and to the opposite end straight across...not following the curve of the face bar. The bumper guard is 1931 DH6 only. Some are cast and some are stamped steel with a slot on the back to receive a carriage bolt head.
