Matt Harwood Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 After getting excellent feedback from fellow forum members (thanks to Edinmass!), it's apparent that my '29 needs the detent springs used in the shifter mechanism. There's a large conical spring and several smaller springs that are used to hold the shifter lever in place. I need these parts. Ed believes that some reproductions were made several years ago, but I have been unsuccessful in finding any. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
