rofly1
Are the oxygen sensors the same in both engines? Are mopar sensors better for our cars than the german or asian ones?thx roger
Guest My TC Toy
Oxygen sensors from outside suppliers have been a source of contention since forever. I think it is always safer to get the original from the dealer whenever possible. That's not to say that aftermarket sensors are all unreliable, however some have backed up this ascertion. I do think it is safe to say that the OEM are generally more reliable.
Guest StudeDude 01
I had a Nippondenso unit installed in my '89 2.2 and had no issues whatsoever. Gas mileage improved and performance seemed a bit better. In any case, one of the outside suppliers has to be the manufacturer of the Mopar dealer units. The question is which one plays the best.
Guest iTurbo
NTK is the supplier for Mopar, at least for the last several that I have bought. You can get NTK O2 sensor at http://www.sparkplugs.com
