Peerless Mentioned in HCC

The June issue of Hemmings Classic Car had a rare mention of Peerless. On page 49 Pat Foster said:

"Great marques perished, and autos like Stutz, Peerless and cars of that caliber command such respect and attendant high prices that I think there will always be a core of enthusiasts at hand."

The article was "Preserving Independents" and was about "major" and "lesser" manufacturers of cars not called Ford, Chrysler, or GM.

Interesting. He usually covers the post war independents only. I think he pulled Peerless out of a hat (to use as a name in this instance)
