mt65riv
My '65 is a non-AC car and I am rebuilding the interior right now. I want to add AC - I have a parts car that has AC - but probably a Vintage Air type, not necessarily stock. Anyone done this here? Is there a kit that works well on this conversion? Thanks,
TexRiv_63
I installed a Vintage Air behind the dash setup in my 63 about 3 years ago, worked very well and used factory A/C outlets. Run a search, I posted quite a bit of info and photos. If the photos are gone e-mail me and I can send you some.
mt65riv
I did a search before I posted and nothing came up. I'll try it with your info. I know I'll have more questions. Thanks,
mt65riv
Here's the link to your description. Thanks! http://forums.aaca.org/f177/vintage-air-c-conversion-1st-gen-247418.htmlIt appears that I will be fine not having started with an AC car. I will need the AC dash vent pieces from my donor. I'll check out Vintage Air's site. Thanks again.
