dl456
HelloI have a 1920 EH special six. Does anybody have an extra water pump wrench? If not maybe a picture?Dennis
Stude Light
The best I could do is a scan from the illustrated parts catalog. See part number 20461.Scott Edited April 11, 2011 by Stude Light Poor photo (see edit history)
dl456
Thanks Scott,I may be able to make something work if one does not become available. I am concerned about damage to the nut moving it with a screwdriver.Dennis
Stude Light
Dennis,I suggest you just grind down an 1-1/4" wrench. It doesn't take much torque to overdo your packing so you don't need much wrench material.Scott
dl456
Scott,My packing nut is round with fingers for a type of spanner wrench. I don't have any flats for say an open end wrench.ThanksDennis
Stude Light
Oh, I was thinking the standard hex nut on something like a Light Six/Standard Six. No wonder why the wrench wasn't listed as a standard tool for those models - it was made to fit the nut style you have. It just lists the EK, EL, EP, EQ - makes sense.Scott
