RivNut
1965 rivieraI've talked with this guy a couple of times about Rivieras. He's pinched financially now and needs to move this car. I think he'd be willing to deal on it. Besides what's in the ad, it has the am wonder bar radio w/ electric antenna, rear speaker, and the rear arm rest.It has the ribbed rocker moldings, not GS trim. The engine actually turns over, but makes a really loud clunking noise when it's being cranked. It needs some rust repair in the floor boards but the trunk is solid (He just dropped the gas tank to put a new float on the sending unit.)If you're interested, give him a call. He's a really nice guy and will talk straight with you.Ed
mt65riv
Looks like an easy save... relatively. I think that is the color mine was originally. I'll have to check the color code.Is it a 425? I thought that they were red and the 401s were blue-green.
RivNut
All 65 engines were green. 63 Riviera only was silver. Only the 425 with the Quadrajet in '66 was red. Okay, okay, the small blocks were red.
