George Albright
Matched pair of extremely scarce 1900-1904 wood wheels for 28 inch clincher tires. Virtually every pre-1905 car that used wood wheels used this size. Original creme paint. and superb wood. Use as is. Always stored inside. Some cars used different hubs on the front axle than on the rear axle,so these could be matched with another pair. Once painted you wouldn't even notice the difference. Outside width of the rim is 2 1/2 inches. Diameter of wheel across it is 23 inches. Big backside outer hub opening is 2 1/2 inches. Smaller lower inside of the back hub opening is 1 1/4 inches.Front opening of the hub is 1 1/4 inches. Width of metal hub assembly is 5 1/2 inches across/in diameter.Price is $850 for the pair, plus $100 for USA shipping. Overseas shipping actual costs.
