I am sure this has probably been posted here before, or most has seen it, but thought I would post it again incase... really neat old road test video... I watched several of these and out of all of the big early 70s cars, the Buick got very high marks!

YouTube - C&T 1972 Buick: Centurion Road Test

also several for the Rivieras...

(there were also more) and one for this '73 Century GS 455

and I loved these...... (they also have segments that featured the Chevrolets, Pontiacs and Cadillacs!)

Darn Shaffer, you left the cat out of the bag, now everyone will know why we love our Centurions and will want one.

Thanks Brian, but at present I'm not really looking, and not really interested in cars that are any significant distance away. This car is in the area, and has a Manitoba safety inspection (meaning I could register and drive it immediately). It has some lower road rash, making me believe it is original paint, has the 350, and is currently priced a bit higher than I'd like to see.

As it is, I really shouldn't be looking at anything at all right now....

Thanks for the memories, I had a 72 Centurion Convert, awesome car, built like a tank even with the previous owners abusing this car, it never left me anywhere. I think the convert was heavier as there is no way mine would handle like the one in the road test, even with new coils in the front. Liked to switch ends in the slippery weather a bit too much for my taste. Still miss it, was a fun car.

I'll vouch that the convertibles are MUCH flimsier and floppy than the hardtops. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the body flex that goes on in the convertibles.

Did flex alot, but all converts do, at least back then. Still built like a tank, lost it on a slick street, took out a guy's back end, bumper and all. After checking to make sure he was okay and dreading what happened to my car, found a dent the size of a quarter in the bumper, not even a scratch in the paint.
