rocketraider
Any of you who have an Ollie's Bargain Outlet in your area, Ollie's just got in a load of 1/32 and 1/24 scale Lindberg model kits, from $7.99 to $12.99- way cheaper than hobby stores. Ones I saw tonight were: 1/24- 48 Lincoln Continental, Mercedes SSK Speedster, three versions of the 53 Ford Victoria including the Pace Car convert, 1940 Ford coupe 3-in-1, 1937 Cord convert.1/32- 1940 Ford convert, 1932 Ford B Coupe, 1925 Ford T hotrod.I remember building the 1/32 cars growing up, and being spoiled by AMT models was a little disappointed that there was no chrome trim or rubber tires. I do remember those models being fairly well executed and scaled though. I unfortunately no longer have the eyesight or steady hand to build models, and if I did I don't have the time. But if any of you still enjoy building them, this looks like a good way to get some neat models of our kind of cars. Guest Siegfried
Was at our local Ollies a few days ago, and grabbed a bunch of them. Lindbergh models are in my opinion some of the best models kits ever. All the pieces fit!
