What happened to 3165?

I bought a 1963 Riviera last week and was going through things in the car and found an old copy of the Riview for Mar/Apr 1992 addressed to Walter E Ernst ROA #3165. I don't know Where the car has been since he owned it but it was more or less a rescue when I got it. Does anyone remember this Riviera?

I guess he must have died but his car lives on.

Randy, I read the ROA magazine last week and thought your name sounded familiar. I had to go back and check, you were on the board of trustees back in 1992.

3165 isn't listed as a current member on the roster. Any member can check by going to the ROA site and using the login and password as published in The Riview. The current roster is available in three different formats.

I'm getting sort of elderly myself so we can't waste too much time. I had planned on joining the ROA but just haven't got a round tuit yet.

I didn't find Walter Ernst in the membership roster.
