MochetVelo
Neat, unedited British Pathe newsreel footage taken in 1957 of Americans flying into the UK to collect their new Triumph cars: (AMERICANS COLLECT THEIR TRIUMPH CARS) - British PatheI got this link off the Hemmings Blog.Search the British Pathe website under "Austin Seven", Rolls Royce, etc. for some great footage, much of it unedited. There is an interesting film of the new Austin plant in Birmingham where you can see the cars being made. Looks like early '50s.Phil Edited December 7, 2010 by MochetVelo (see edit history)
Dave@Moon
I searched for "TR6" and found this newsreel of the Oct. 1969 Earl's Court Motor Show. The TR6 in the clip has a stunning WHITE interior that was never officially produced. It should have been!:cool:SPECIAL ! The cars being built appear to be Austin A70 Herefords, which were introduced that year. At the end a large lot of A40 Devons is shown.
