What is are the differences between a EV1-L7, EV1-D8, EV1-F7, EV1-E7?

Could someone please help....the only information i have is that they go on a 46-48 DeSoto.

The letter/number pair after the carburetor identification is a date code for the production date of the carburetor.

The letter represents the month (A=January, B=February, etc.)

The number represents the last digit in the year (7=1947, 1957, 1967, etc.)

Thus an EV1-L7 is an EV1 produced in December of 1947.
