carbking
The letter/number pair after the carburetor identification is a date code for the production date of the carburetor. The letter represents the month (A=January, B=February, etc.)The number represents the last digit in the year (7=1947, 1957, 1967, etc.)Thus an EV1-L7 is an EV1 produced in December of 1947.Jon.
