keiser31
Anyone know the correct sheen of black paint for the inner fender wells and radiator?Be extra careful painting the radiator. Better to talk to a radiator guy. Too much of the wrong paint on it will make it overheat.
Guest Bob Call
Most engine bays originally used a flat black like that used on radiators. The radiator paint is not an enamal but some type of coating that is soluable with petroleum based fluids like gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc. This is for maximum heat transfer. Flat black has the best heat transfer efficiency. Like suggested above, check with a radiator shop for the proper coating for your radiator.
