Reatta Door Lock Problem

Does anyone know how to fix the power door locks on a 1990 Buick Reatta? The door is stuck in the locked position with the door OPEN. How can I get the lock to release so I can close the door?

Did the striker latch flip over on the door so the door will not close close to the body? If that is the case, just pull on the door handle like you are going to open the door and flip the little latch on the door back into position. Look at the other door to see if the latches look the same. If it looks different, then that is probably your problem.

Thanks Larry - that did the trick. Now ... any help on changing the headlights?

What is wrong with the headlights? Are they burned out or do they not go up and down? If the problem is that they will not go up and down, there is a ton of information on how to fix them. There are kits to replace the gears that usually are the problem.

The are just burned out and I just need to take the old ones out and put in the new ones I bought on line. The auto shop wants to charge $90 to do this and I am trying to save some money and do it myself.
