Guest 4HQ
I'm trying to figure out what make and model this car is.Its possible its a home creation or a mix and match.Regardless, I'd like to at least identify the components. What manufacturer had these creases in the fenders? What about the vents are they Packard? The entire thread is here:http://forums.aaca.org/f169/what-make-model-mystery-vintage-car-287569.htmlThanks

Curti
I do not believe the grill is from a production Auburn. It looks similar to L-29 Cord which was made by Auburn. The patent number on the cap may lead you down a path. Are there any fasteners on it that may give a clue to country of origin. Whitworth for example. It certinally had nice lines. Guest De Soto Frank
Yipe.Looks like someone tried to make a "fine Euorpean sports-car" out of a '31-'32 Reo ?( The top of the radiator shell and all the vent doors make me think Reo...)
Seldenguy
Looks like a homemade job from composite parts of many vehicles. Sure is an ugly treatment using those rear fenders. But everyone has a different view of beauty, as in "the eye of the beholder".---Bob
