Guest windjamer
I carry my wifes handycap scooter in the trunk of my Buick, about 300 lbs. My 65 Buick assc. book tells me air shocks where an available option for that car. My question, would after market shocks such as monroe be a deduction? Got a ans. for me? MCHinson
I am not familiar with the original air shocks that were available on your Buick. (They were not an option on Model A Fords:D)I would suggest that you should find out what they looked like. You can probably install some aftermarket ones and make them look like the original equipment ones. Strickly a guess, but based on what I remember from looking under a previous Buick Riviera, I would guess that they would have been black in color. You could probably paint the aftermarket shocks to match the originals, and probably do OK.
Guest windjamer
Thanks Matt. You are right on color, I have seen a 65 G.S. with air shocks but never thought they might be correct untill looking at my own option booklet.
