oldstyle Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 I need to remove the Headlight switch on my 65. I did get all the screws out of the front of the dash pad. Looks like the speaker grille nuts need to be removed next. Correct? Seems like it would be tough to get those nuts back on. Also, does the plastic surround on the dash just pop off? rivgs Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 You do not need to remove the speaker grill. Just pull on the dash pad carefully and the front "hooks" will release and you can lift the dash pad carefully to disconnect the speaker wire and remove the pad.
