89tc
Hi Everybody, I now have two tc's and thus have two nice passenger seats and two worn driver seats. So my question is, if i take the seats off the power assemblies, can i put a passenger seat in the driver seat location (on the driver seat power assembly)???? Thanks for any info. Guest My TC Toy
You would probably have to change over the floor brackets, they are different on each side of one seat. The other thing is that all the controls and would be on the wrong side, back recline switch and back tilt to get into the rear. Also the carpeted side of the seat would be against the door not the console. Other than that I can not see wht it would not work. Has anyone actually done this?? 89TC-16V
change the seat brackets, its 4 bolts in the bottom and the power assembly comes off and you can bolt them to the other seats.
TwinCamFan
I've done it, there are so many good passenger seats out there and so few driver's:( Pretty much like TC Toy mentioned, the recline controls are on the wrong side as is the carpeted panel but the fastest TC in the world has been set up like this for years:cool:Alan
Guest 2ManyMopars
When I bought my TC it was like this, however I swapped them back because there was no noticeable difference in wear between the two, and because you don't get the correct range of motion with having them swapped (very minor difference). You will need to swap the mounting tracks/brackets.
