padgett Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 160F should let the computer use the "warmed up maps" (think the last switch is at 156F). I have just always used 180s on 3800s.Just the thermostat is not going to help a lot. Just flushed the black car & put in a 180 SuperStat but have not fixed the PROM to bring the fans in earlier. Coming back from Sam's on I-4 @55 ED04 was sitting on 87C/188F. As soon as in local traffic went to 93C/199F. A/C on and 94F OAT. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
