water manifold removal

Undo the bolts holding the manifold to the heads sfter draining the systen and removing the radiator hose. Then pull up on the manifold. There is an "O" ring that seals it into the front cover, and it is probably stuck in pretty good. You may need to "persuade" it with a pry bar.

Thank you Old Guy, I was trying to remove the water manifold and probably the timing gear cover, at least the part that the water pump bolts to. Since I have every bolt that I can find out and would like to clean and repaint it, how hard is it to get it off? I think the only thing left is to pull the piece that the pullys bolt to.

Thanks again, Warren
