Guest britishink
The woman I bought it from thought it was a coaster too but the edge has a lip like it was recessed into something else, wood, brass... who knows?
bhclark
I have something similar that was inside a glass bowl when I received it.I managed to break the glass, so now I'm left with the paperweight.
Guest britishink
My best guess was the center of an glass or copper ashtray, they did copper ones of the 1933 worlds fair with smaller pewter medallions in the middle.Glass bowl huh....interesting and thank you.
