Hello,sorry for my bad english but i am french.

have a Buick 1953 and i want to change the rear wheel bearing.

How can i do to remove the horse shoe?

Here is a picture of m'y problem.

Has somebody the procedure to do that,because i have not the shop manual.

With the brake drum off, you should be able to push the axle in far enough to remove the horseshoe (C clip ) .The spacer you have already removed is what keeps the axle in place .

i don't really understant.

I have to put the drum on the car to push on the axle?

I try to push before,without the drum and i think its not enought.

only a few millimeters.

Push on the axle with the drum off. Sometimes the parts are sticky and you have to hit the axle with large piece of wood.
