Guest Straight eight Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) As far as the harmonic balancer I would think the pulley is black and the rest not painted black as this would match the other pulleys. Glassesguy Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 My understanding is that the balancers were in place when the engine was painted. My 39 Special's was the same gray as the engine block.
