Guest Mc_Reatta Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Hot all the time Body Fuse #2 supplies 12v to the truck lid switch which then supplies 12v to the bulb when the lid is open. The other side of the bulb is grounded at all times. Check bulb and condition of socket.Check for 12v to one contact of the contacts in the bulb socket when lid is open. If not there check for 12v to the lid switch. If not present check fuse. If OK there is an open wire from fuse to switch. If 12v only on one side of switch, switch not working. If 12v is present at one side of bulb socket, check the ground connection of the other side of the socket. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
