Glass Polishing

I just bought a pair of taillights for my Maxwell. One is great and the other has a lense that seems etched or frosted almost as if it was very lightly sandblasted. Has anyone ever had any experience or recommendations about having the glass polished by someone or can I do it myself with one of the advertised kits?

The kits will fix hazy, dull glass surfaces, but for deeps scratches you'll need to get them ground and polished. I suggest you call a headlamp restoration shop such as Veteran Auto Lamps (Home) for a recommemdation.
