Bob Engle
30 and 31 50 series spindles are the same. 32 spindles are different.Bob

michaelod
Bob, The 1930 50 series is a different animal from the 31 50 series. The 31 50 series was a replacement for the Marquette and rode on a 114" chassis while the 30 50 series was a larger upscale model on a 124" chassis. You may be correct, but I would be surprised if the spindles are the same. The 1930 50 and 60 series cars share many of the same chassis components though. Thanks,
Bob Engle
My mistake!! The part number 227567 is listed for 1930 series 30 and 1931 series 50. the 1930 series 50 and 60 knuckles are the same as 1931 and 1932 80 and 90 series. Bob
Guest buicker
After reading a bit I wonder if some of the olds would cross over? Also the spindle broke right behind the nut, I did forget the kotter key so wondering if the nut backed off enough to cause enough wobble to break?
