1916 Franklin Oil Pressure Gauge

My father-in-law's Franklin oil pressure gauge is leaking oil. I removed the gauge from the dash to inspect. It is a Hancock ON/OFF gauge that is soldered together. Does anyone have a thought on repair procedure or are there any replacements out there? The brass case was painted black.

If you can determine the area where it is leaking, it seems as if you could solder that back up. I would just be a little careful and take it apart as much as you can to make sure that there is nothing that can be damaged. Good luck. Looks like an interestingpiece of equipment.

Might want to contact one of the gauge restoration specialists like Bob's Speedometer. But there are lots of them around that do excellent work. But again, they are not cheap either.

The series 9 had the distributor type of oiling system. Ron Andrew is alive and well.
