TexRiv_63
I need help from the Oldsmobile experts! I posted this in the "What is it" general forum but am not having much luck. I just found this neat deco styled emblem plate, it is 5 5/8" wide by 1 3/4" high, polished stainless with 6 foldover mounting tabs on the back. I'd like to know what year and model it is from and also where it was mounted, thanks for any assistance.
Guest Julian
To me it appears to be from the 30s and it may have been a delete cover for the glove box door, clock delete, radio hole cover possible ash tray or just a decorative trim for the dash itself very nice piece though.. I like it...

TexRiv_63
Thanks Julian and Jeffrey, this seems like a real stumper! I have never seen this style lettering for the Olds name before. I agree its probably 1930s, anyone else out there know what this is from?
