Dwight Romberger
Hi All,My 1930 model 47 comes back from the media blaster today! I am finalizing the paint scheme and I have a question. Some pics show the recess around the windows painted black (option 1). Some pics show the recess painted the body color (option 2) Does anyone know which is correct? I appreciate any input.I have attached two photos showing option 1 and 2.Thanks,Dwight(I guess everyone but me knows this, but if you click on the pic, you get a larger pic that shows the difference.) Mark Shaw
Dwight, Beautiful car! You might check the judging manual on the BCA site. My son's 29 Buick was originally Cenosure Blue with black fenders & moulding that had cream inserts under the windows. I believe the pin striping was also cream color.... Dwight Romberger
Mark,Thanks for the compliment, but neither car is mine. They are just examples.Sorry if I wasn't clear. I did'nt mean to mislead. But you were right. The BCA manual says the window reveals were black. Thanks Mark.Dwight Edited January 21, 2010 by Dwight Romberger (see edit history)
