alsancle
Hi,I've seen two types of dash faces on the Hollywood. One is engine turned and the other is the vertical stripes. I think I've heard that the engine turned was on the earlier cars and the stripes on the later? Is that true?thanks!A.J.
alsancle
Here are a couple of pictures of the two varieties. Are there any Hollywood experts out there?
Guest graham1941
Thats correct. The engine turned face was a holdover from the Cords, and was used on the 1940 models. When production switched over to the 41 model year,(7/40), the frosted face with the stripes was used.
