Guest tenbears
Does anyone know of a manufacturer of steel hubs for wood spoke wheels? We found a manufacturer for the wood wheels but you must supply the hubs. Don't want old original hubs - we are looking at supplying new parts. Thanks for any help or direction. Steve Braverman
What's wrong with the old hubs? What kind of car?
Restorer32
Any machine shop should be able to make them for you if price is not an object.

Guest tenbears
Thanks for the response - we'll give Dave Longstreth in Cave Creek a call and try local machine shops who might be able to make a prototype.Old hubs won't work because we are building a new version of an old car. Guest tenbears
I was in error. My understanding was that locating old hubs that are in good enough condition were nearly impossible to find in a matched set, other than Model T, which is too small. If anyone knows of a source for sets of hubs in good condition, they would serve quite well if they were the right size. They are for a 32" wheel, similar to a 1911 Overland or Mercer wheel. Thanks and Happy New Year!
