MarkV
Anyone know about this? or other voice systems? This was on the Delta 88 back in the late 1980's, I guess it would scream at you and tell you if something is wrong. I found it interesting... LINC400
My father had one of those New Yorkers in the 1980's. When he got in an accident with it, I asked if it screamed in pain or swore at him, but he never answered me. Just gave me a dirty look. Guest windjamer
My memory may be off,but I think Mopar had this befor 1980s. Anyway, a local Chrysler dealer with a large revine on his lot sold one to an older lady. eather the salesman didnt know or forgot to tell her about it,but as she started out of the lot she drove over a small pot hole. The door was not shut tight and the slight bump caused it to move. The voice said (your door is ajar) Not knowing of the system she thought someone was in the car with her. it scared her so bad she hit the gas and drove into the revine. Totaled the car.
