Otahuhu
Between the leaf spring and where it meets the diff housing was there a rubber pad or a bronze pad? Does anyone have a photo of an orginal setup ?Thanks
K8096
There's a metal casting between the bottom of the axle & the top of the main leaf. I don't think it's bronze, it think it's just steel. I can try to get a picture & post it later in the week. I would think a truck spring supply place would have something you could use. Otahuhu
Many Thanks for the photos and your reply. Can now work my out from this info. The vehicle is a 1929 Model M 8cyl. with wire wheels 134 1/2 wheel base right hand drive Sedan The only one of this model left on the road in New Zealand Are in the process of bringing it back to orginal and have made a lot of parts. There is a good place in Australia that casts a number of Stutz parts for the ones left in this part of the world.Could I ask another question of the front and rear shock linkages.(Delco Lovejoy)What is the center distance between the two ball joints on the front and rear linkages?
