Guest Gee_Rydes
Hi Guys, I am trying to determine if the control arms both upper/lower front and lower rear are the exact same throught the 63-65 years. If they happen to be shared by other models, that info would also be extremely helpful.I don't know if anyone has access to part numbers or any other good info, but I do know that some of the aftermarket brake conversion guys have different kits depending on the year.I am specifically looking for info about the control arms. Thanks
CTX-SLPR
I do believe they are all the same. Only difference I know of between the 63-65 suspensions is the wheel hubs are smaller on the '65. Spindles changed in '66-70 but I am soon to test the interchangability of them on my '64 since the later spindles leave more options for custom caliper mounts without messing with the steering arms. tim63riv
Hi,63 rear lower control arms use a different bushing than the 64-65's. Front control arms are the same and as was posted earlier, the hub size is smaller in 65.Tim
