A. Woolf Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 I don't what they used originally but it doesn't really matter. Modern fluids are much better and easy to obtain. My father owns a 28 Victory Six and we have always used a good quality Dot 3 or 4 brake fluid. I would not recommend using a silicone brake fluid regardless of what others may suggest.
