West Peterson
The absolute best place to learn metal shaping is from Fay Butler, and he offers courses. Wheelwright, Mass. 413-477-6449McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas, used to offer a one-month-long interim course in restoration, but I don't know if they still do that or not. Steve Braverman
We offer one week classes in the beginning of every June. Chris,Does McPherson ever offer courses later in the Summer? I am a teacher and work until the end of June. I thought there used to be courses offered in July.
Chris Paulsen
Hi Steve,Classes have been offered for the first two weeks in June for at least 6 years. It may have been different before that.We are working on the schedule for next year, and I believe they will be in June again.Chris
Steve Braverman
We are working on the schedule for next year, and I believe they will be in June again.ChrisThat's too bad. As a teacher in NY state, I am required to acquire 15 college credits every five years until I retire. They can be in almost anything. If McPherson ever offers classes during a time when I am off, I would love to take a few.
Guest abh3usn
I did a Google search on automotive restoration classes and here's what poped up. GA Tech offers a course in Automotive Restoration where they were restoring a '34 Hupmobile, I'm sure a search would pull up more courses as well. Good luck.
