Jason Dove
I have recently begun the restoration of a 1927 Touring Oldsmobile. However I am finding it very hard to find any reference material or manuals, photos etc.I am a Scotsman living in Denmark and there doesn't seem to be any other car of this type in the country!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. ThanksJason
Durant Mike
Jason First thing is to contact the AACA Library and see what research material they might have there on your car. You'd be surprised at what you might find. Sales brochures help you see what was originally on the car and what the car looked like. Paint and sales information can tell you options and colors. Then go down and post a notice like this one on the early Oldsmobile forum down below this one. Then give it a couple of days and see who responds to you. This group is a great bunch of people and are very very helpful.
Steve Moskowitz
Jason, Mike gave you great advice. 1927 is a tough year for Olds fans. Not a lot of them around but I am pretty sure we have info you would need at the libary. I will not be able to respond to next week but I will send you a message with info on other 27 owners.www.aacalibrary.org
Jason Dove
Thanks guys... I've sent a mail to the AACA Library so lets see what happens there. The info regarding other owners will be great also. ThanksJason
