trimacar
Hi- working on early 20's Hudson touring. On the rear of the fron fenders, each side, are six small footmans loops, each about 1 inch wide. These appear to be factory, as there is a backing plate that goes all the way back to the running board. Who can tell me what the purpose of these might be? thanks David C. Reo M
I am guessing but would suggest that they were for leather straps to hold a fender/running board mounted and fitted piece of luggage. If you look at period auto magazines you can find a variety of shaped luggage advertised. Hope this helps
