Guest Bugler
I just got the opportunity to get a low mileage Series I 3800SC.What is involved? Do I need to use the trans that is attached to it? How long does it take? Should I hold out for Series II?

D-a-n-i-e-l
The series one is deffinately an easier swap, but if you are tring to stuff as much power as posible into your car the series II would be better. If you just want the car to be fun to drive the series I is a great choice. Here is a write up on what it takes to do and a great bit of advice twards the bottom, to overcome some of the issues I ran into.http://forums.aaca.org/ubbthreads.php/topics/586202/Re_The_series_one_swap#Post586202

D-a-n-i-e-l
That is a very good swap, but not 4 me. I like my touch screen, but for those of you with a 90/91 it is a great swap.
