keiser31
A fellow old car enthusiast shared some info with me that may or may not have been brought up here before. He discovered that there is a DuPont historical color library website to go to in order to match old colors from 1931 on up to new DuPont formulas. Just thought I would pass this important information on. John

Guest Plymouthy
and as the base for most paints have evolved over the years.these color charts are close sometimes and not an exact science...straight form DuPont mixers as they try to utilize old formulas from their archives to the modern paint...(talking factory level not local paint jobber by the way...)
