Guest Buick Bonery
A 58 Roadmaster 75 2 door hardtop was recently sold at auction here in Sacramento. The owner was a 95 year old woman who is now in a retirement home. The car is strikingly original, and in very good shape. It even has the gold turn signal lenses intact. The winner of the aution is not a car fanatic, he wants to flip it, and I can get in contact with him. I estimated that the car would sell for $15,000 but it went for $8,500. I would like to see the car in the hands of a Buick lover. It really should be with someone who appreciates it. I have pictures for anyone who wants them. Also, as an aside, the heirs to the estate had already called a tow company to come and take the car away, when the estate auctioneer suggested that they keep it and include it in the estate auction. serb
Mike,I believe (know) that the 58's did not have the gold lenses. They were clear. I know this because my father had a 58 Roadmaster 75 coupe and I painted the insides of the lenses with the paint they were selling at the time. This could have been in 62 or 63.Stevo
